The time with friends mattered too much to spend it learning the water by failure.
It started with a year of getting ready for one trip into Canada.
I did the homework because I had to. Charts, tides, regulations, where to launch, what to run, where to start on the first morning. Months of it, mostly late at night after everyone else had gone to bed.
It worked. We fished well from the first morning instead of losing two days learning the water.
What stuck with me afterward was how few people ever get that. Most guys book the trip, show up, and spend the best part of it figuring out the fishery the hard way — not because they can’t fish, but because the research takes longer than the trip does.
That’s StrikePlan. I do that homework for your water, your dates and your boat, then hand you the plan. You show up knowing where to start, what to run, and what to change when it isn’t working.
I’m not a guide and I’m not selling secret spots. I’m a fisherman out of Washington who got tired of watching good trips get wasted on a slow start.
